This health information hotline puts you in contact with a health care professional knowledgeable about stroke symptoms, stroke treatment and resources. We send educational information to you through the support of the American Heart Association of Charlottesville-Albemarle.

  • Assess your stroke risk
  • Learn how to recognize symptoms
  • Make changes to lower your risk of stroke.

Specialized Clinics

You can also talk to your doctor about participating in these programs at UVA:

  • Neurovascular Laboratory: Evaluation of carotid artery disease
  • Comprehensive Stroke Clinic: Preventative care of stroke
  • Interventional Neuroradiology Clinic: Analysis of advanced cerebrovascular disease and the possibility of interventional therapy.
