Clinical Trial Description

Natural history of acute otitis media in young children

Pediatric Associated, PLC and the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Virginia Health System are conducting an observational study of ear infections in children ages 6 months through 3 years. They hope to learn more about these infections by observing the changes that occur in the ears.

Study Includes

A normal ear exam, including a photo of the tympanic membrane (ear drum) at time of diagnosisand on days 2,3,7 and 14.
