The UVA Transitional Care Hospital (TCH) specializes in treating individuals with serious medical conditions that require a longer length of stay (25-28 days on average) than is standard at a typical acute care hospital. Find out more about the services and staff of the TCH.

Visitor Information

The lobby is the central hub of the TCH. Visitors are met by our receptionist at the front desk and can receive a visitor pass from 9:00 a.m.-9:00 p.m. The first floor of the TCH also includes public restrooms and a dining area with a variety of prepared food options and vending services.
