Background
Dr. Quanjun Cui is a board certified orthopaedic surgeon and specialized in adult reconstruction including primary and revision total hip and total knee replacement, complex fractures and related complications, young arthritic hips and knees, avascular osteonecrosis (ischemic bone death), osteotomies including peri-acetabular (Ganz) osteotomy, surgical hip dislocations to treat femoro-acetabular impingement (FAI), and minimally invasive surgery for hip and knee joint replacement and fractures. Dr. Cui received his medical degree from Henan Medical University with honors and then completed residency and fellowship training in adult reconstruction (joint replacement) at University of Virginia. He also completed an AO trauma fellowship at University of Bern in Switzerland. He is currently the medical director of orthopaedic and trauma in-patient service unit. Dr. Cui has written over fifty papers and book chapters on orthopedic surgery and related researches. He has received numerous academic and professional accolades, including the Hip Society Otto Aufranc Award in 1997.
Beyond Orthopaedics Dr. Cui enjoys playing golf and reading. He also loves spending time with his wife, two children and friends for outdoor activities.
