Patient Billing
Patient billing information, including information on online bill payments.
Since billing for medical treatment is very specialized, a patient may receive more than one bill as a result of a single visit. UVA patients may receive bills from both the Medical Center and the UVA Physicians Group (formerly Health Services Foundation).
Medical Center Billing
Medical Center bills include hospital services associated with either
an inpatient (you were in the hospital overnight) or outpatient
visit. This includes services like lab work, X-rays or surgery.
If you have questions about a bill from the Medical Center, see our explanation of billing statements, try our frequently asked questions or call the Patient Financial Services Customer Service Department at 434.924.5377 or 800.523.4398 (fax 434.982.0873).
