Children under 12 years of age are not permitted to visit unless there are extenuating circumstances. If approved for a patient visit, children are screened for health concerns and issued a visitor pass. Children must be supervised by an adult at all times.
Unit staff will complete an after-hours blue Visitor Registration Card for all visits after 9 p.m. and for visitors staying at the bedside. After 7 p.m., visitors should take the blue card to the Emergency Department Information Desk to register. This helps us know who is in the hospital after hours.
