Pediatric Respiratory and Allergy Care

We provide care for children with allergic conditions and lung diseases. We see pediatric patients from all over Virginia and the Mid-Atlantic region for conditions such as asthma, allergies, cystic fibrosis, sleep disorders and more.

Standout Specialties

Lung Transplants: UVA offers the largest lung transplant program in Virginia. With one-year survival rates at nearly 90 percent, and three-year survival rates over 80 percent, our success rates meet or exceed national benchmarks.

Sleep Disorders: We also are one of the few centers in the region to offer an extensive pediatric sleep program that includes evaluations for infants.

Cystic Fibrosis: Our Cystic Fibrosis Clinic is one of 110 nationally to be accredited by the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
