Blood Disorders

At UVA, we offer the latest treatment options for children with all forms of blood disorders, including sickle cell disease, anemia, bleeding problems and blood-clotting disorders.

Our team includes medical and surgical specialists who are trained to care for the special needs of children with blood disorders. We’re also a federally recognized and funded center offering comprehensive hemophilia care that meets federal standards of care for children with the disease.
