Cochlear implants: Life-changing for those with hearing loss, these
surgically implanted electronic devices provide a sense of sound. At
UVA, we also offer counseling before surgery and rehabilitation to help
patients learn to work with their implants.
Repairs for congenital aural atresia: We offer implantable devices or a corrective surgery option developed here at UVA.
