Kimberlee Daniels, MBA
Kimberlee Daniels serves as the Interim Chief of Ambulatory Operations. In this role, Kimberlee is responsible for leading operations across UVA Medical Center to create and support exceptional patient access and service, provider and staff satisfaction, growth and volume management, process and technology innovation, and strong financial performance with superior efficiency and productivity. Kimberlee joined the UVA team in 2017 as the Service Line Administrator for Surgical Subspecialties and Ophthalmology. Former roles prior to joining UVA Medical Center include Senior Administrator for Family and Community Medicine at University of Maryland Faculty Practice, Inc. and Administrator for Orthopaedic Surgery at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center.
In her over 26 years of healthcare experience, Kimberlee has gained core competencies in hospital and physician practice management, revenue cycle management, managed care contracting, and physician/hospital relations. Kimberlee has demonstrated excellence in leadership and performance in strategic growth and development, increased physician productivity, hospital profitability, and building and motivating interdisciplinary teams.
Born and raised in Philadelphia, PA, Kimberlee received a MBA in Health Administration from St. Joseph’s University in Philadelphia, PA and a BS in Health Policy and Administration from Penn State University, University Park, PA.
Kimberlee is a fellow with the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE).
Kimberlee also serves as the Vice Chair on the Cultivate Charlottesville Board of Directors, Charlottesville, VA.
