A Randomized, Multicenter, Double-Blind, Flexibly-dosed, Efficacy and Safety Study of Escitalopram in the Treatment of Children and Adolescents With Generalized Anxiety Disorder
Study Description

The department of psychiatry and neurobehavioral science, division of child and family psychiatry is seeking children ages 7-17 with Generalized Anxiety Disorder for a research study. The purpose of the study is evaluate safety and efficacy of the study drug.

Your child may be eligible for this study if they are 7-17 years old and have been diagnosed with generalized anxiety disorder.

Study involves blood draws, ECGs, physical exams, psychiatric assessments, and taking the study medication/placebo daily. There will be approximately 8 visits to the study center over 3 months.

Study drug and all study-related tests and procedures are provided free of charge.

Compensation

$50.00 per completed study visit
