The department of psychiatry and neurobehavioral science, division of child and family psychiatry is seeking children ages 7-17 with Generalized Anxiety Disorder for a research study. The purpose of the study is evaluate safety and efficacy of the study drug.
Your child may be eligible for this study if they are 7-17 years old and have been diagnosed with generalized anxiety disorder.
Study involves blood draws, ECGs, physical exams, psychiatric assessments, and taking the study medication/placebo daily. There will be approximately 8 visits to the study center over 3 months.
Study drug and all study-related tests and procedures are provided free of charge.
