Evaluation of volumetric muscle loss in the lower extremity
Study Description

The University of Virginia, Department of Orthopaedics, is conducting a research study The purpose of the study is to measure muscle function in healthy people and patients with muscle loss due to an injury. The study involves measuring: how you move when you walk, muscle strength of your legs, muscle function, ultrasound testing and having an MRI of your legs. Testing will occur at up to 4 separate visits and the total amount of time required is about 6 hours.

Study-related tests and procedures provided free of charge.
Ages: 18-65

Compensation

$100.00 for study completion.
