Caregiving Stress, Sleep, and Cardiovascular Disease Risk in Caregivers of Patients with Cancer
Study Description

The School of Nursing seeks adults aged 18 – 64 years who provide in-home care to their loved ones diagnosed with cancer for a research study. The purpose of the study is to find out how caregiving stress affects sleep and cardiovascular health.

You may be eligible for this study if:
• you have a primary responsibility of caring for an adult loved one diagnosed with cancer
• you are not a professional/paid caregiver

Study involves one study visit lasting approximately 70 minutes. On the study visit, participants will be asked to fill in questionnaires, and cardiovascular health markers will get measured by non-invasive devices. When leaving the study site, the participants will wear a wrist-worn device measuring sleep health for a week and an ambulatory monitoring measuring blood pressure for a day.
