Ultrasound effects on human motor cortical plasticity
Study Description

The Department of Neurosurgery seeks healthy adults ages 18-65 for a research study. This study will look at how the length of time a special ultrasound used on the brain effects the brain area responsible for body movements. Participation will be 3 visits, each visit lasting around 1 to 2 hours.

Depending on your study group the study may involve:
- Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and/or Computed tomography (CT) of your head
- Brain stimulation with Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) or Focused Ultrasound (FUS)
- Digital recordings of your hand muscles

Study-related MRIs and CTs are provided free of charge.

$50 per visit, for up to 3 visits
