Study Description

The Geriatrics department seeks senior adult men & women residing in Long Term Care Facilities for a research study. The purpose of the study is to measure the impact of COVID-19 vaccination on quality of life for people living in facilities and to measure immune response to vaccine.

You may be eligible for this study if: you reside in a long term care facility and plan on or have received the COVID-19 vaccine.

Study involves a monthly quality of life survey and blood draws and COVID-19 testing at the start of the study and every 3 months after. There are a total of 13 monthly study visits, each lasting approximately 1 hour. The study lasts a total of 12 months.

Study-related COVID-19 testing provided free of charge.
