Determining the rapidity with which exogenous P suppresses daytime LH (GnRH) pulse frequency in women during the follicular phase of the menstrual cycle (CRM001)
Study Description

The Center for Research in Reproduction is seeking female volunteers with Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS), ages 18 to 35, for a study investigating the effects of progesterone on other reproductive hormones. Participants must have irregular menstrual cycles and must not have taken contraceptive pills or hormonal medications for 3 months prior to the study.

The study involves 7 brief outpatient visits and 2 overnight admissions to the Clinical Research Unit at UVa.
