Effect of Acetaminophen on the Accuracy of the Dexcom G6 Continuous Glucose Monitoring System
Study Description

The Division of Endocrinology is seeking men and women, ages 18+, with type 1 or type 2 diabetes for a research study. The purpose of this research study is to evaluate the accuracy of a Continuous Glucose Monitoring System (CGMs) at measuring blood sugar levels in people with diabetes while taking repeated doses of Tylenol (acetaminophen).

The study will involve:
- 3-4 study visits, over a period of up to 37 days:
- One screening visit at the Fontaine Clinical Research Unit, which includes a finger stick and CGM placement.
- Two in-patient visits over 1 week, which include an IV placement and blood draws. Meals will be provided during the study visits.
- Wearing a CGM for up to 7 days.
