Use of an Internet-Based Insomnia Intervention to Prevent Cognitive Decline in Adults with Mild Cognitive Impairment
Study Description

The School of Nursing and Department of Neurology seeks adult men and women, ages 55 years and older with cognitive decline and insomnia for a research study. The purpose of the study is to learn more about a newly created online insomnia intervention called SHUTI OASIS in older adults with mild cognitive impairment

You may be eligible for this study if:
• You have been diagnosed with MCI or have had a decrease in cognitive abilities.
• You have difficulties falling asleep and/or staying asleep

Study involves an online questionnaire, cognitive assessment at 2 different time points, completion of 2 weeks of daily sleep diaries at 2 different time points, a sleep tracking device to be worn at two different time points when you sleep, an online insomnia intervention and a post-intervention interview.

Study-related assessments, sleep tracking device and online insomnia intervention program are provided free of charge.
