Study Description

The UVA Center for Psychiatric Clinical Research seeks adults ages 18-74 with Major Depressive Disorder with Insomnia Symptoms for a research study. The purpose of the study is compare the study medication with an FDA approved medication, to see if it is safe and effective as an adjunctive treatment.

You may be eligible for this study if you are currently on an existing antidepressant, and still are experiencing depressive and insomnia symptoms.

Study involves taking an experimental medicine, completing assessments, blood draws, ECGS, and vitals at 15 visits over a 6 month time period.

Study-related insert exams, assessments, and experimental medication provided at no cost.

Compensation

$100 for each completed visit
