A Randomized, Double-Blind, Placebo-Controlled Trial of REL-1017 as an Adjunctive Treatment for Major Depressive Disorder
Study Description

The UVA Center for Psychiatric Clinical Research seeks adults for a research study, ages 18-65 with moderate to severe Major Depressive Disorder (MDD) with continued depressive symptoms, despite taking an antidepressant. The purpose of the study is to test the efficacy of the study drug with an existing antidepressant, compared to a placebo with the antidepressant.

The study involves taking either an experimental medicine or placebo, blood draws, ECGs, and completing assessments during 7 visits over a period of about 2 months.

Study-related exams, tests, procedures and experimental medication provided free of charge.
