The Department of Radiology and Medical Imaging seeks adults ages 18-60 with military experience for a research study. The purpose of the study is to better understand how people are affected by repeated exposure to blasts from artillery operations.
You may be eligible for this study if you are an active-duty military service member or veteran.
The study involves completing MRI, blood draw, providing a saliva sample, neuropsychological tests, auditory and balance assessments. The study will be completed over the course of 1 day, and will take about 8 hours to complete.
Study-related tests are provided at no cost.
Compensation: Participants will be paid up to $400 for finishing this study, or $20/hour if you do not finish the study. Participants will also be reimbursed for travel-related expenses.
