Assessment of Safety and Feasibility of Exablate Blood-Brain Barrier Disruption for the Treatment of High Grade Glioma in Patients Undergoing Standard Chemotherapy
Study Description

The Department of Neurosurgery seeks men and women ages 18-80 with grade IV glioma for a research study. The purpose of the study is to see if focused ultrasound can be used to open the blood brain barrier temporarily during the standard of care maintenance dosing phase of Temozolomide.

Study involves a screening visit followed by up to 6 focused ultrasound treatment cycles at the beginning of each of your chemotherapy monthly cycles.

Study-related procedures and exams will be provided free of charge.
