Effects of Olfactory and Gustatory Dysfunction on Social Isolation, Nutrition, and Cognition in Older Adults
Study Description

The Otolaryngology department seeks healthy adults ages 18 and over for a research study. The purpose of the study is to observe how the sense of smell and taste affects social isolation, nutrition, and cognition in older and younger adults.

You may be eligible for this study if you have a loss of smell/taste.

Study involves a smell test, surveys and questionnaires, two cognitive tests, and a taste test which will be completed in one visit lasting about 1 hour and 15 minutes.

Study-related tests provided free of charge.
