Brenda Deller, MSN, BSN, CCRN, CNS, is a clinical nurse specialist who cares for patients who have kidney disease. Her clinical interests include:
- Acute kidney injury

Brenda spent two decades as a nurse in various roles, with the majority of her time in a cardiac surgery intensive care unit. “I learned more than I could have imagined during that time and knew becoming a CNS (clinical nurse specialist) would allow me to offer the next level in my nursing practice,” she says.Brenda grew up in Northern Virginia, where she enjoyed participating in sports and loved being part of an active family that traveled across the U.S. Her parents encouraged academics and promoted being a thoughtful citizen.
