I am originally from Salem, OR. I completed my first B.S. degree at Oregon State University and completed my BSN at Columbia University in NYC. That is also where I completed my masters and received my ACNP.
I moved to Charlottesville from NYC in the summer of 2015 to start work at the neurology ICU. Prior to that, I worked on various critical care services at multiple hospitals in Manhattan. I am certified in critical care nursing and as an acute and critical care nurse practitioner from two different national boards for NP’s.
I play golf and poker with a vengeance, and I just adopted a Dachshund. In my spare time, I volunteer for multiple marathons as the race medic, including the NYC Marathon, which I have attended for the last five years in a row.
