Dr. Kollins received his medical degree at Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, Virginia. He completed his pediatric internship and residency at Children's Hospital of The King's Daughters in Norfolk, Virginia where he went on to serve as Chief Resident in Pediatrics. He completed his pediatric cardiology fellowship at Nationwide Children's Hospital and Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio.
Dr. Kollins is the first full-time pediatric subspecialist living in, and serving the community of Winchester, Virginia. He enjoys photography, carpentry and spending time with his family. Dr. Kollins is a native of Virginia and enjoys hiking and camping in the Shenandoah Valley.
