- Nervous stomach and irritable bowel syndrome
- Sleep problems
- Eating disorders
We provide evaluations for other UVA clinics to help determine your psychological readiness and social support systems. You may require these evaluations if you are preparing for surgeries, such as weight reduction, organ transplant or an insulin-pump.
Our center helps you to be more aware of your body's natural responses. Through computerized monitoring, you can observe these controllable body responses, such as muscle tension and breathing patterns.
With treatment and practice, nearly 80 percent of our patients learn to control or eliminate these symptoms.
