Testing & Assessments

We provide neuropsychological assessments, which include an interview with you and your family to understand your concerns. We’ll review your symptoms, medical history and medications before you complete tests that assess your areas of thinking and memory. Tests typically last between 2-3 hours and include puzzles, answering questions and written tasks. This can help determine whether your memory concerns are due to age-related changes or if they reflect a neurological disorder. Our neuropsychologists will schedule a follow-up appointment to discuss the findings with you and your family and provide treatment recommendations.

Ongoing Evaluations

We also conduct repeat evaluations for patients with known diseases to assess for changes in thinking, memory, behavior and daily functioning. This helps us understand your disease progression and allows us to adapt treatment as needed.

Support

Coping with a diagnosis or understanding the symptoms of a disease can be challenging. Our clinic provides psychotherapy, or talk therapy, to help you and your family throughout this process.
