When: Second Monday of each month, 5:30 - 6:30 p.m.

Diabetes Support Group - Orange County
When: First Wednesday of each month, 9:00 -10:00 a.m.
Where: University Physicians Orange, conference room
Introductory Workshop: "Living Well with Diabetes"
Covers the basics: Diabetes complications, blood-glucose monitoring, staying well, foot care, sick-day guidelines, nutrition, exercise and stress management.
Nutrition Workshop:"I Have Diabetes, Now What Do I Eat?"
Provides the most up-to-date nutrition information for planning meals, reading food labels, heart-healthy eating and improving blood sugar control.
Learn about what foods contain carbohydrates, serving sizes and how much you should have each day.
Strategies for Success
Find creative ways to decrease calories but still eat the foods you enjoy.
Gestational Diabetes Class for Spanish-Speaking Patients
For a healthy pregnancy with diabetes, you need to keep your blood sugar in the target range. We'll help you do this with a plan that keeps your meals, exercise and insulin in balance.
Self-Manage Your Diabetes
Teaches patients how to interpret glucose readings and set action steps for glucose control.
