Along with excellence in body imaging, breast imaging and nuclear medicine imaging services, these highly specialized services are not available everywhere. Unlike many other hospitals, our radiologists have the subspecialty training needed to read images from specific areas of the body.
We perform a full range of imaging exams to diagnose diseases and disorders of the chest, abdomen and pelvis, as well as the gastrointestinal and genitourinary tracts. In addition, our radiologists use X-ray, CT and MRI to perform image-guided needle biopsies and drainage procedures.
Our dedicated team provides patients with a comprehensive, high quality and individually tailored services for early detection, diagnosis and treatment of breast disease. Our breast radiologists operate within a larger breast care team that includes surgeons, medical oncologists, genetic specialists, social workers and other experts.

Musculoskeletal radiologists perform a full range of imaging and image-guided intervention procedures related to bones, joints, the spine, metabolic disease and osteoporosis. We also specialize in minimally invasive pain management therapies that can offer effective surgery alternatives and offer consultations for complex cases.
Neuroradiology: Diagnostic and Interventional
Our neuroradiologists work closely with neurologists and neurosurgeons to diagnose and treat a range of neurological conditions. Our diagnostic neuroradiologists specialize in interpreting scans of the brain, head, neck and central nervous system. Our interventional neuroradiologists perform minimally invasive, image-guided procedures that can replace traditional surgery.

One of the most effective methods to check for cancer recurrence, nuclear imaging or medicine:
- Uses small amounts of radioactive materials called tracers
- Produces detailed views of organs, tissue and bone
- Can determine whether a tumor is malignant or benign
Vascular and Interventional Radiology
Interventional radiology (IR) uses state-of-the-art minimally invasive techniques and imaging guidance to replace conventional surgery.
IR radiologists perform more than 6,000 cases annually, treating patients, diagnosing disease and providing a full array of patient care for the chest, abdomen, and extremities. Services include:
- Diagnostic arteriography
- Renal and peripheral vascular interventions
- Biliary, thoracic and abdominal stent grafts
- Venous access procedures
- Embolization cancer therapies
This alternative to surgical treatment can eliminate the need for hospitalization in certain cases.
Types of interventional radiology include:
Noninvasive Cardiovascular Imaging
Cardiovascular radiologists offer state-of-the art imaging of the heart, arteries and blood vessels using high-resolution imaging technologies. These technologies allow our radiologists to perform noninvasive imaging and provide accurate diagnosis of diseases affecting the cardiovascular system.
