As of July 31, 2024, Piedmont Family Practice will be fully owned and operated by UVA Health. This means changes to how you receive and pay your bill.

We're committed to making this transition as seamless as possible for you. And we're excited to continue providing world-class care for any primary, urgent care, and weight loss needs you may have.

What's Not Changing?

The practice phone number, hours of operation, and providers who care for you and your family.

Important Changes As We Transition Practice Ownership

As part of this ownership change, UVA Health will be the owner and custodian of your medical records at Piedmont Family Practice. Our name is now UVA Health Piedmont Family Medicine Warrenton.

Over the next few months, you may receive bills from both UVA Health and Piedmont Family Practice.

Bills from Piedmont Family Practice will be for services provided before July 31, 2024.

UVA Health bills will be for services provided on or after July 31, 2024.

Please note: These bills will be for distinct services. Both must be paid. They're not duplicates. Please follow the instructions on each statement for how to pay each separate bill.

What can I expect once Piedmont Family Practice is part of UVA Health?

On Nov. 1, 2024, UVA Health will launch a new billing system and MyChart portal for UVA Health Piedmont Family Medicine Warrenton.

Until November 1, 2024, you can't make payments in person for services provided on or after July 31, 2024. When you begin receiving statements from UVA Health, your statement will have a different look, contact number, and payment mailing address.

To make a payment or ask a billing question for service dates on or after July 31, 2024, please call 844.377.8046 or visit www.mychartuva.com. If you don't have an active UVA Health MyChart account, you may select “pay as guest.”
