Urologic Cancer Innovation
Cryotherapy is available for treatment of prostate and kidney cancer. Your doctor performs this non-surgical technique by inserting freezing argon gas into the tumor through a thin needle. The resulting ice then destroys all cancerous tissue in the affected area. The procedure causes little, if any, harm to surrounding tissue.
