I'm Dr. Victoria Norwood. I'm the Chief of Pediatric Nephrology at the University of Virginia.

I have the opportunity to take care of children with all different types of kidney and urinary tract disorders. I care for children as young as an unborn child all the way through young adults, many of whom have graduated from college and are now moving on into their own adult lives.

My philosophy for the way our team works is very much that it needs to be a team. No matter how much I know or how hard I work, there's always more to be known and more to be done, and so I want our group to work as a team with every patient and family, so we don't have ... When you come to see us, you don't just get one physician. You get all of us.

I think probably the thing that I like the best is helping families and patients through the really tough times. It's very emotional. It's tiring for me as well, but at the end of the day, I know I've done something real.
