SUSAN WERNER: I'm Susan Werner. I'm a pediatrician here at UVA Pediatrics in Culpeper. And I'm the associate medical director for the six primary care clinics at UVA here in Culpeper. I feel that it's a cooperative relationship that I have to have with the patients. They have to trust me. I have to be a good listener. 

I just love to make a difference in the lives of the families in our community. I love to be there to just be present to the good and the bad and help shepherd them into adolescence and onto adults. That part in a small community where you get to see them outside of the office and see them flourishing both individually and as a family is just what makes me happy. 

You would bring your child to us because we have such a fine group of health care providers and the team that supports us, and we have current, up-to-date information about all aspects of pediatric care, and we're going to provide the services to you with joy in our hearts and welcoming you into it.
