My name is Doctor Ostranda Williams I'm a pediatrician I currently practice at UVA pediatrics in Culpeper. I really enjoy working with children I enjoy working with young families, just having the opportunity on any given day to see a baby that's two day old all the way up to a teenager who's eighteen and be able to help them to make healthy life choices, life decisions about their health, helping the family through the different stages as their child is growing and developing has been really rewarding for me. When I see a new patient I like to,

let the parents know that I see myself as their partner. That they are the experts on their children in terms of knowing all their habits. And my job is really to partner with them to help them to understand what different developmental stages their child may be going through when they come in for a sick visit, what things I need to be hearing from them in terms of symptoms and to help them to understand what the diagnosis is and as

a team come up with a solution in treating the child.

I appreciate diversity in our patient population that we have here in Culpepper and I think that helps me to be in a better physician.
