I’m Noah Schenkman Urologist at the university of virginia medical center. I am a minimally-invasive urologist and I deal with a variety of different medical conditions we treat a lot of patients with kidney stones also a lot of patients with benign conditions such as benign prostatic hyperplasia. We treat a lot of urologic cancer so that's prostate cancer, kidney cancer, testicular cancer, bladder cancer. I'm known for the minimally-invasive approach which were surgical procedures is laparoscopic and robotic surgery where we make small incisions to do major operations. I was in the military for active duty military for 22 years I served in Germany and then a lot of my career was at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington DC. I’m passionate about patient care I really feel it's important to deliver the highest-quality of medicine to the most number of patients we can. I think what sets UVA apart is definitely dedication to excellence the physicians here are terrific and we are very collaborative and I think we have great nursing staff. Everyone really cares about getting patients well.
