My name is Scott Heysell and I'm a doctor at the University of Virginia.
I have the privilege to care for people who have HIV and we provide a comprehensive approach to the care of in our community and throughout the state.
What we do within the infectious disease clinic is to provide a comprehensive and very patient centered approach to a person with an infectious condition.
I’m passionate about helping individuals but I also have a strong focus on conditions of poverty.
I think the most rewarding part of patient care is being able to develop long term relationships with my patients and be able to stand with them and beside them through very challenging times in their lives.
