DIANE NUGENT: My husband is OK now. He got a liver from somebody because they said yes. And we would get people saying, I never really thought about being an organ donor, but wow. Why would I not be one now? STEVE NUGENT: I had gotten a chunk of liver from my sister, actually. They give you 60% of the liver from a living donor. When they put that in me, I did really well. CYNTHIA WILLIAMS: Transplant recipients are very special in the fact that they know what it's like to be sick, and they have these dreams to fulfill after. And by donating your organ, you have an opportunity to do that. STEVE NUGENT: There's a lot of people can't run a marathon, and I just did one. And I'm two transplants in. DIANE NUGENT: Donate live. Be an organ donor. Sorry.
