I'm Feng Su and I'm a hepatologist in the UVA division of gastroenterology and hepatology. I mainly see patients who are referred to us with some type of liver issue, whether it be a simple case of elevated liver blood tests, or abnormal appearance of the liver on imaging, to more serious conditions like cirrhosis or liver cancer. I also see patients who are referred for consideration of liver transplant in our transplant clinic. I'm passionate about providing evidence-based care for my patients. So, you know, using the research and the data that we have available to us to make clinical decisions for my patients, but also taking into account their values and their preferences. Medicine is a team sport. There's absolutely a collaborative feel in, you know, taking care of our patients and making the right decisions for our patients and so I think that's what sets UVA apart.
