Prospective Assessment of Allogeneic Hematopoietic Cell Transplantation in Adolescents and Young Adults with Severe Sickle Cell Disease
Study Description

The University of Virginia Cancer Center seeks adults ages 18 or older for a database study that collects information about myelofibrosis and cell transplantation. The goal of this research is to determine if stem cell transplants are beneficial for patients with myelofibrosis.
You may be able to participate in this study if you are:
- a Medicare beneficiary,
- have myelofibrosis, and
- will receive an allogeneic stem cell transplant in the US.

By participating in this study, Medicare may pay for your stem cell transplant.
