Victor M. Zaydfudim, M.D., M.P.H. is an Assistant Professor of Surgery in the Division of Surgical Oncology at the University of Virginia. He received his undergraduate degree from Brown University and M.D. from Brown Medical School. Dr. Zaydfudim subsequently completed General Surgery training at Vanderbilt University Medical Center where he also received a Master of Public Health degree. Prior to coming to UVA, he completed a Hepatopancreatobiliary Surgery Fellowship at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota.
Dr. Zaydfudim's primary clinical interests include benign and malignant diseases of the liver, pancreas, and bile ducts. His primary research interests include public health initiatives aimed at improvements in healthcare delivery and practice, particularly as it applies to the patients with hepatobiliary and pancreatic disorders.
