Alexandra Lopez Low, PA, is a physician assistant who cares for critically ill patients.

“I love the science of medicine, as well as helping people feel their best,” she says. “I take an empathetic approach and try to understand the patient’s perspective. I think empathy and support go a long way in healing.”

Alexandra grew up in Salinas, California, where she rode horses and played volleyball and basketball. She attended college at the University of California, Santa Barbara, where she was a member of the women’s volleyball team.

She worked in emergency medicine and outpatient internal medicine for three years before earning her master of physician assistant practice degree at the University of Southern California.
