Bio & Overview
Chelsea Hull, MSN, is a women’s health nurse practitioner and certified nurse midwife. Chelsea joins the team at UVA Midwifery, where she provides obstetric care to women through pregnancy and birth, as well as primary care through all stages of life.
In addition to patient care, Chelsea is interested in pursuing research related to hypertension in pregnancy, and physiology of birth and positioning in labor.
A Virginia native, she began her clinical career working for six years as a labor and delivery nurse at UVA, where she also received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree.
Chelsea went on to pursue a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree from Georgetown University in the dual Nurse Midwifery and Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner program. As part of her master’s degree training, she worked in private practice, completing clinical rotations in both primary care and obstetric and gynecologic care. Chelsea finished her midwifery clinical training at Naval Medical Center Portsmouth, where she cared for patients in clinic and during labor and delivery.
In her spare time, Chelsea enjoys reading, yoga, walking and spending time with family.
