Bio & Overview
Elizabeth Lester, RN, MSN, AG-ACNP, is a nurse practitioner whose clinical interests include oncology therapy toxicities and cardiology.
“Working with patients should always be collaborative,” she says. “You can only treat what a patient will tolerate so it’s crucial to have their buy-in and to marry your recommendations with their lifestyle, preferences, and needs.”
She was born to a military family and spent time in Germany, Texas, Kentucky, and Florida, before settling in Virginia for college.
She earned her undergraduate nursing degree at Bon Secours Memorial College of Nursing and both her master's degree in nursing and doctorate in nursing practice (DNP) at the University of Virginia.
