Gianna Ricci, PA, is a physician assistant who specializes in spine care.
“I’m passionate about helping patients with neck and back pain improve their symptoms conservatively so they can get back to the parts of life that are meaningful to them,” she says.
Gianna was raised in Pittsburgh and earned her undergraduate degree in human nutrition, foods, and exercise from Virginia Tech.
After shadowing an orthopedic surgery physician assistant in college, she became interested in pursuing a PA degree. Gianna returned home to complete her master’s in physician assistant studies at the University of Pittsburgh.
“I care about spending time with patients to get to know them better so we can create a plan that best aligns with their goals,” she says.
In her free time, Gianna enjoys traveling, baking, reading, skiing, and spending time outdoors with her husband.
