Helen Dainton-Howard, MD, is a neurologist and psychiatrist who treats Parkinson’s disease, Huntington’s disease, and movement disorders. Her research interests include psychosis, depression, and apathy in people with advanced Parkinson’s.
Dr. Dainton-Howard grew up in northwest Indiana and studied molecular biology and psychology at the University of Indianapolis. She earned her medical degree from Indiana University. She then completed a dual residency in neurology and psychiatry at the Medical University of South Carolina and a fellowship in movement disorders from Rush University in Chicago.
