Couldn't have been any better

NP Zhao was fantastic. She listened to my problems and took me seriously, getting me the help that my home doctor has repeatedly failed to do. It was such a relief, and I'm so glad I switched to this clinic.

At other locations in the past, I've encountered a variety of poor providers of all types. Not all, but the vast majority have been rushed, showed no respect or interest in me, acted unethically, etc. Yesterday's visit was decidedly different. My provider was professional and put me at ease, answered every question without defensiveness, noticed and was responsive to my anxiety, and offered additional clinical resources when I inquired. I left feeling optimistic and cared about, not only as a patient but also as a person. This is optimal health care, and I'm glad I came to UVA.

Could not have asked for a better provider than NP Hong. She was very thorough with checking my symptoms and recommended very appropriate tests for my issues giving a clear explanation of what was needed.

I was very pleased with the care I received from Hong Zhao. She was patient, knowledgeable, and answered all my questions.
