Bio & Overview
As an academic hospitalist at the University of Virginia, Dr. Lollett provides high-quality and culturally competent care to hospitalized patients being treated for a wide array of illnesses and/or injuries.
Her professional interests include healthcare access and clinical outcomes in underserved populations as well as medical student and resident education. As a native Spanish-speaker, she has a long history of serving the Hispanic community through volunteer work at the Clinica Latina and other community outreach programs.
Dr. Lollett was born in Caracas, Venezuela and grew up in South Florida. She attended the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine where she was inducted into the Gold Humanism Honor Society and Alpha Omega Alpha Society. She trained in Internal Medicine at the University of Virginia where she now continues her career as a faculty member. Outside the hospital, she enjoys hiking and exploring the beautiful landscape that Charlottesville has to offer.
