I had to initiate conversations about recommended level of activity, and the need for physical therapy during recovery. I had been told by my prep nurse on the day of my procedure that PT would be required, but was advised by Dr. Shorten that it was only initiated if requested by the patient.The nurse/assistant who removed my stitches and applied bandages was very thorough and provided clear care instructions.
Dr. Shorten had a Dr. In training who was wonderful and Dr. Shorten finished and made sure I understood everything about injury and took excellent care of me. Very thorough
