Highlights
Meet Joshua Kim, DO
Hi, my name is Joshua Kim. I'm a primary care physician at UVA Health Family Med and Sports Med Centreville. I am a primary care physician and I see all kinds of patients from birth to end of life, full-scope pediatrics, and full-scope internal medicine. I'd say I'm passionate about evidence-based medicine and applying that to particular patients, being able to know where the evidence base is to direct care, but also just knowing that this is a person that's sitting across from me. And so, trying to navigate that intersection is something that I'm fairly passionate about. I think communication is very important. And I want to do my best at every office visit to be able to communicate clearly and effectively with a patient, despite whatever language or social, or economic barrier there may be. I want to get to know who you are as a person, and I want you to know who I am as a person so we can work together and collaborate to meet our health goals. I think UVA Health does a great job of meeting patients where they are, whatever their particular medical situation, social situation, financial situation. UVA Health does a great job of partnering and coming alongside them.
